How Do You Use PreSpot?

Many spot removers contain dangerous petroleum distillates or bleach. The National Capital Poison Center lists some of the possible dangers found in spot removers and laundry products.

We can avoid harmful chemicals by using plant-based PreSpot. It contains plant based cleaning agents along with three enzymes: Protease targets protein stains, amylase targets starch stains, and lipase works on greasy stains. It also contains T36-C5 Melaleuca Oil. PreSpot is gentle on fabrics, and is great at removing gravy, blood, tomato, and coffee stains. It comes in a 4X concentrated formula, a gel with scrub brush tip, and a travel size PreSpot Instant Stain Remover. You can read more about PreSpot at the Safer for Your Home website.

The Melaleuca Wellness Guide contains several customer tested solutions using highly effective PreSpot not only on laundry, but also in the kitchen and in other places.
Kitchen

Kitchen dishcloths are easily stained. Keep a spray bottle of PreSpot in the kitchen to quickly clean up stubborn coffee and tea stains on kitchen dishcloths. PreSpot works great for removing tough stains on laminated countertops. Spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping.
Some Other Uses

To remove carpet stains mix 2 tablespoons of PreSpot with 1/2 capful of Sol-U-Mel in a 16oz spray bottle filled with water. For extremely difficult spots try concentrated PreSpot. It may need to soak for a couple of hours before rinsing off and blotting dry.

Fire ants have become serious pests in some parts of the country. Not only are they destructive, but their bites can require medical care. Spray the ants with PreSpot. It is very effective for killing them. And they won't come back!

Tar can be removed by PreSpot without hurting the finish on the car.

My husband hauls gas for a living and the hoses get his tan work shirts black. Thank goodness for PreSpot! An interesting use I also found is using PreSpot to get rid of those little ants that want to enter the home in the Spring. Thanks to The Melaleuca the Wellness Guide for that tip!

PreSpot! I use it everywhere & on everything. It takes out bloodstains on my husband's uniforms, newborn blowout stains, and blueberry stains! I love using the gel with the scrub brush. It just helps get in and get all the grime and stains off a bit better. The spray is also great and does wonders on the ring around the collar of my husband's uniforms.

I’ve used PreSpot not only on clothes but also on shoes, couches, and carpets. Oh and the on the go PreSpot is awesome addition to carry in your car or purse. I have one in my diaper bag and don’t leave home without it!

Besides being the incredibly awesome laundry spot cleaner, PreSpot has helped me in another unusual way. I’ve had a horrible time in the past with ant invasions in the kitchen and other rooms of the house. When I applied PreSpot to the area I determined where the ants were coming from, they stopped coming from that area. It would take a long time before they came thru another location and I would then apply the PreSpot to that area and they would be gone altogether!

Our son purchased and wore a white tailcoat to a high school dance. Years later, I discovered he hung it up after the dance with what looked like a drink stain on the front. With no intention of wearing it again. I could not justify sending it through the dry cleaners, so I sprayed it with PreSpot and dabbed up the stain completely. I was amazed. Now the white tailcoat is ready in our costume collection again.

Also, I was given a white ceramic mug that I used for coffee and tea. It became stained on the inside and nothing would make the stains go away. So one night I sprayed the inside with PreSpot. The stain disappeared and has never returned. It has been over a year! Mug stain cured!

Love Pre-Spot! It is the best on our laminate countertops! There was writing from a sandwich bag on the counter. Pre-Spot removed it easily! Our grandson had a white shirt with tomato sauce dried into it. Pre-Spot took it out! Safe & effective! Wow!

I was getting ready for an in-home presentation when one of the guests dropped blueberries onto her white skirt. Out came the new PreSpot, I squeezed a tiny amount onto the stain and asked her to rub it in while I continued my setup. Needless to say that the stain disappeared and we enrolled 4 customers!

I often have ants in the bathroom. They come through cracks and pipes and are a real nuisance. When I called my pest control guy, he rolled out the heavy poisons, which I do not like in my house. The Melaleuca Wellness Guide recommends PreSpot for getting rid of ants. So recently I tried it out and it worked. I sprayed PreSpot around the drain and the overflow and used the PreSpot gel in the cracks on the counter. Since it is clear, it won't show and the ants are gone!

I absolutely LOVE PreSpot! My husband works in the restaurant industry and comes home daily with greasy, cheesy, oily food stains on his clothes. It used to be very hit or miss, mostly miss, when trying to get these types of stains out with the "other" brands. I was excited to try PreSpot when we first got it, but a little apprehensive, as I had very mixed results with other store-bought products. I love PreSpot. My first experience with PreSpot was getting blood out that had been through the dryer. Also, one time my daughter fell and injured her knee. Her pant leg was frayed and had both grass stains and blood on it. I just sprayed the PreSpot on the area, waited for a while, then sprayed again. After letting it sit a while I just threw it in the washer with MelaPower. It came out perfectly clean. I love the fact that I can spray the spot when it happens and wash the article a week later and there is no stain from the spray. I belong to a women's group that meets once a month. At one of our recent gatherings one of the ladies arrived in her nice white slacks and poured herself a glass of RED wine. When she went to sit down, her glass swished around and out came the wine all over her pretty white slacks. I ran to my closet and gave her a shirt to change into while I took her slacks to my laundry room and sprayed them with PreSpot. As I sprayed I could see the wine lightening but I really didn't know if it would all come out. When the wash was through, I held my breath, and when I pulled out the slacks there was no sign that there was red wine on them. When Maria returned to the group in her nice white slacks, they were so amazed, saying "We need to know what product you used?" I have two new customers as a result of that wine spill and our amazing PreSpot.

PreSpot was one of the products I first signed up to be a Melaleuca customer for. The supermarket product I had been using was good but it would make me cough and splutter and make my throat begin to close up. So I thought, well if it takes the pen and grass stains out of my whites then I will give it a go. It surely performs AND smells nice and does NOT affect my breathing in any way. Not only does it take the stains out of clothes, it also works on the white bench tops and removes tea/coffee stains just like that. Spray and leave it to work and then wipe clean, and you have a nice clean bench. Coffee cups as well. I am so glad I tried it as with all the products at Melaleuca!

I love PreSpot. I check through my dirty laundry for marks then spray up before putting in the washer. When coffee got spilt on my clean white duvet cover, I soaked it in cold water with a dash of PreSpot for a couple of hours then washed as usual and no stains were left behind at all! Blood from nose bleeds on pillow cases and shirts have all been removed. We even cleaned up blood on a white shirt with PreSpot, and carried on wearing it without having to wash it! For stubborn stains it helps to spray with PreSpot then leave to set for a while. I also use an old toothbrush to scrub it a bit. This is one product I make sure I never run out of.

I have used PreSpot from the time I enrolled in Melaleuca after switching from OxiClean. My husband is on blood thinners, so I have the opportunity to use it often on clothes and bedding. The truth is, when I spray a soiled area, it actually starts to dissipate before my eyes. I also have tried the PreSpot Instant Stain Remover while away from home and it also worked great. This product is amazing and I would recommend this to everyone. I would not go back to any other product, even if it was free! LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Over Thanksgiving my husband's father came to visit. While eating appetizers, he spilled some dip on the shirt he planned on wearing the next day and was very upset. He kept dabbing it with water until I got out my PreSpot with the roller ball and rolled it around the stain. After it was dried he couldn't find the stain! Success!
