Calmicid
(Please read our disclaimer)
Millions of Americans regularly suffer from indigestion and, for some, eating a tasty meal can cause pain so intense that it is called "heartburn."
The Melaleuca Wellness Guide explains that normally the lower esophageal sphincter, a muscle valve, opens just to allow food to pass into the stomach. However when it opens too often or does not close tightly enough, heartburn is experienced as stomach acid seeps back up into the esophagus.
Heartburn relief can be achieved through lifestyle changes. Gas, belching, or a bloated feeling is a sign of inadequate digestion in the stomach. Eating on the run, inadequate chewing and stress all play a part in causing indigestion. Everyday Health helps clarify the difference between indigestion and heartburn.
Prevention and Remedies
For occasional heartburn try Calmicid. It contains 300mg of bone protecting calcium and a special blend of chamomile flower, fennel seed, and ginger root. These three herbs are well-known stomach soothers.
For regular, frequent heartburn, try Calmicid AC Acid Reducer. Money saving Calmicid AC Acid Reducercontains famotidine; the same active ingredient found in Maximum Strength Pepcid AC. Famotidine is a histamine2 blocker. It works by making stomach fluids less acidic and less irritating. Calmicid AC Acid Reducer goes to work within minutes and lasts 10-12 hours.
Lifestyle Changes
A surprising simple remedy for heartburn is chewing gum after a meal. Not only will chewing gum help freshen breath, but several studies have shown that chewing gum for 30 minutes after a meal can relieve heartburn symptoms.
Doctors often recommend sleeping with the head of the bed elevated, and waiting two or three hours after eating before going to bed. Both suggestions help keep stomach acid from splashing back up into the esophagus.
A food diary can help identity offending foods. Eat earlier in the day. Chew Exceed Sugarless Gum after meals and before bed. For frequent heartburn remember Calmicid AC Acid Reducer.

Calmicid Success Stories
I received The Melaleuca Wellness Guide from my partner in Melaleuca with notes in it about our journey. Thumbing through the book intrigued me in that, not only did it have testimonies from others, it also had advice from Veterinarians concerning animals. Reading and going to The Melaleuca Wellness Guide first with questions I have about cleaning, deodorizing, pet care, insect repellant and many other situations, helps me feel accomplished in taking care of my home, pets, and self with non-toxic cleaners, supplements that work, and a solution to rid my place of an ant problem. One of my favorite suggestions from The Melaleuca Wellness Guide is jewelry cleaner. Using Prespot liquid and water, 1 capful prespot to 1/4 cup of water, soak, brush with soft toothbrush, rinse, dry, and be wowed by the brilliance and shine.
Calmicid is a fabulous product made from great things from nature to calm an upset stomach. I use it for heartburn relief and it works quickly to chill the burn. For nausea it works quickly and completely. Sour stomach, great for that as well. In using Calmicid I enjoy the taste and cooling effect that comes from the blend of good-for-you ingredients, each good by itself, a powerhouse in this blend. I keep them on hand all the time now so I am prepared when indigestion strikes. Two of many great things I love about Melaleuca,

My husband likes to eat late dinners. When we eat late, especially pizza, I cannot sleep due to heart burn. Two Calmacid tablets gives instant relief and off to bed I go.

A few years ago I developed intolerance to caffeine. I get severe heartburn after drinking soda, coffee, or tea. When I learned about Calmicid I began taking it for my heartburn which worked so much faster than other antacids. Now when I know I will be out and likely to drink caffeine or have a rich meal, I take Calmicid AC prior and have avoided heartburn. Calmicid AC works even when I take it just prior to ordering my meal. It really works wonders. Thank you so much to Melaleuca and RM Barry for sharing.

I have a Westie, one of the cute little white dogs. She has a very sensitive digestive system. After her first year of being raised on a beef-brand diet, she started crying in pain. I took her to the vet and we decided to switch her diet to a lamb-base because it's an easier meat to digest. It did help, but Casey still suffers from indigestion problems and her cry is like that of a baby with colic. I started using the Calmicid AC when she has an episode and within 20 minutes, she is very comfortable and I could tell she is experiencing great relief. I decided to try this for Casey when I had some digestive issues from a little too spicy meal one night. If it worked for me, I wanted Casey to have the same relief. I don't suggest using all products on our pets, but this is one product I'm comfortable giving to Casey when she has her occasional digestive issues.
